NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers will play their final midweek game of the season on Tuesday night when they travel to Tigue-Moore Field to take on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.

The Privateers took two out of three from Nicholls over the weekend as they finished out with a 12-10 win in 11 innings on Sunday. New Orleans is now 4-2 in extra inning games this season.
The Privateers put up 32 runs over the weekend against Nicholls. They hit .304 as a team and had a .544 slugging percentage with 14 extra base hits.
Dylan Biddick hit three home runs and five Privateers scored at least four runs in the series.
Over the weekend in Thibodaux, New Orleans had 10 stolen bases against Nicholls with seven of those coming in the series finale. It was the most stolen bases they had in a game since they also collected seven against UIW in April 2021. The Privateers moved from ninth in the league in stolen bases to fifth after the weekend.
Dathan Cummings has started to rack up hits in his last two weeks. The sophomore has gone 13-for-33 in his last 10 games dating back to the series opener against HCU. Cummings has also scored 11 runs in that stretch and has raised his batting average from .222 to .295.
As a team, the Privateers are hitting .344 in 61 at-bats with the bases loaded this season.
Evan Rogers is 4-for-6 when coming up with ducks on the pond. Also, New Orleans has 111 two-out RBI this season.
Owen Smith leads that category individually with 16 coming into the final week of the regular season.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides since 2019 when the Privateers went down to Lafayette and won 10-3. The Ragin' Cajuns have won five of seven meetings since New Orleans left the Sun Belt after 2010.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Louisiana is on a five-game winning streak entering play after they swept a weekend series against Georgia State. The Cajuns are 30-18 with two weeks left in their regular season. Four players have at least 10 doubles on the season for a team that ranks fifth in the Sun Belt in that category. Cody Brasch has four wins and five saves in 17 appearances this season.
