HATTIESBURG, Miss. – New Orleans began its 2020 campaign with back-to-back 3-2 victories over Southern Miss Saturday at the Southern Miss Beach Complex. The wins featured the Privateers beginning their season 2-0 for the second consecutive time.
Veronica Corcoran and
Lucie Pokorna won both matches in straight sets at the top flight,
Ally Carr and
Victoria Corcoran began the new campaign as partners again with two victories, and
Brianna Vega and
Alexa Spartz – paired for the first time together in any regular season – went 2-0.
