NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans women's basketball is home Wednesday and both basketball squads are at SFA Saturday, while men's and women's tennis host Friday and Saturday matches at the University Tennis Center.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Privateers (7-15, 3-9 Southland) have their first bye Wednesday before resuming league play at SFA (19-3, 10-1 Southland) Saturday and Central Arkansas Wednesday. Saturday's contest tips off at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
Bryson Robinson became the 23rd member of the 1,000-point club on the Lakefront. He is third in program history in three-pointers with 182 triples (16 away from
Christavious Gill). He enters the week 10 points away from moving into top 20 in program history (1,040).
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Privateers women's basketball program will look to start another new winning streak with two Southland Conference matchups this week. New Orleans hosts HBU this Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at Lakefront Arena. The game will be part of New Orleans Athletics celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day as the department celebrates local women sports leaders. The Privateers will then hit the road for a contest at Stephen F. Austin at the William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches, Texas. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. New Orleans enters the week fifth overall in the Southland with an overall record of 11-9 and 7-4 in conference play.
MEN'S TENNIS
The Privateers will host a pair of opponents this week at the University Tennis Center when they take on Jacksonville State (Friday, Feb. 7) and Loyola (Saturday, Feb. 8).

Max Heinzel has started his collegiate career with two singles wins and a doubles triumph.
- New Orleans engineered a pair of victories over SWAC schools when they topped Prairie View A&M and Jackson State.
- The Privateers last played Jacksonville State in 2015 and won 4-2. New Orleans has played Loyola every year since 2015 and has won all five of those matches in that stretch.
WOMEN'S TENNIS
After a 3-0 week, the Privateers are back in action when they host two opponents on Saturday, Feb. 8. New Orleans will face Southern at 12 p.m. and Loyola at 4 p.m.
