NEW ORLEANS – 2020 marks the inaugural season of beach volleyball in the Southland Conference. New Orleans begins season No. 6 receiving votes in the AVCA national poll following its record setting 2019 campaign that featured 15 victories.
The Privateers – led by
Veronica Corcoran and
Rachel Kuhn's 20-6 mark at No. 1 – set several program marks last year.
Victoria Corcoran and
Ally Carr finished with 16 wins apiece and 14 as a duo.
Brianna Vega will have a new teammate following the graduation of
Blessing Dunn. Vega posted 12 wins and
Alexa Spartz recorded 11.

Millicent Van Norden. "Every student-athlete wants an opportunity to permanently etch their name into the history books during this inaugural season in the Southland."

"Our schedule has strong competitive balance throughout. We have set our goals at a higher-ranking position than last season. Our first recruiting class for beach are now seniors and we look to set the tone of success at our first competition opening weekend."
2020 HOME CAMPAIGN
The Privateers host the New Orleans Invitational March 6-7 at Digs Volleyball Complex and welcome Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Nicholls and #RV Tulane.
2020 SCHEDULE OVERALL
The season begins February 22 with two matches against Southern Miss.
