MONROE, La. – New Orleans beach volleyball (2-3) picked up a victory at the top pair with
Veronica Corcoran and
Victoria Corcoran defeated Missouri State's (4-1) Tylar Garrett and Chloe Filipski 21-19, 21-9 Friday morning at the ULM Beach Volleyball Courts. The Lady Bears defeated the Privateers 4-1.
UNO's No. 4 pair of
Madeline Drake and
Liz Gialanella went to a third set after taking the first 21-19.
The Privateers take on host ULM and Southeastern Louisiana Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. UNO defeated Southeastern 3-1 earlier this season.
