Victoria Corcoran defeated their second Power Five program in 2021 as the Corcoran twins downed No. 16 South Carolina in three sets Saturday at the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
Up against Skyler Allen and Alyssa Keller, Veronica and
Victoria Corcoran took a 1-0 lead with a 21-14 victory in the opening set and went ahead 12-8 in set No. 3 looking to upset the Gamecocks. The win was clinched with a
Veronica Corcoran kill 15-11. Earlier this year, the Corcoran twins defeated Utah.
UNO fell to No. 3 LSU (12-2) 5-0 and South Carolina (11-3) 4-1 on day one of the LSU Beach Invitational.
