NEW ORLEANS – The Education Day portion of Wednesday's game against Mississippi Valley State has been cancelled. The scheduled contest is currently still on for its originally slotted time of 11 a.m. at the Lakefront Arena.
Out of an abundance of caution due to impending severe weather projected in the area, the decision was made to cancel the school participation portion of the day. All educational partners who planned to participate will have access to a special ticket voucher to a future Privateer game. Details will be sent directly to the participating schools which include partners from Orleans, Lafourche, Jefferson and St. James Parish.
Any fans who have purchased tickets and are not able to travel are welcome to contact the ticket office at 504-280-GAME for alternate arrangements.
