FULL RESULTS (DELTA TIMING)
NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateer Track and Field team wrapped up its indoor season on Friday afternoon at the LSU Twilight.
The high point of the afternoon for a lighter than usual UNO squad was in the men's mile where
Alvaro Canarte finished second with a time of 4:26, and
Antonio Blackwell finished third with a new personal best of 4:28.9.
Other Privateer personal bests on the afternoon included:
Briana Bell with an 8.05 in the 60M,
Ellis Cummings with a 7.07 in the 60M,
Karena Grigenas with a 14.81-meter toss in the weight throw,
Aisha Johnson with a 7.97 in the 60M, and
Christopher Murphy with a 7.02-meter long jump.
Next up is the Southland Indoor Championships on Feb 27
th and 28
th at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala.
