NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers women's tennis team will honor their squad full of seniors ahead of the regular season finale on Tuesday against the Xavier Gold Nuggets on Tuesday at the University Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Ank Vullings,
Lina Hohnhold,
Estelle Vanthier,
Mar Gendra,
Lea Alguacil and
Salma Abdelrahim before the match for their contributions to the program. The six Privateers were a crucial part of bringing a 2021 Southland regular season title to the Lakefront for the first time since joining the conference.
NOTES
The Privateers will bid farewell to a class whose value was immeasurable in their respective time on the Lakefront. Two Privateers (Vullings and Gendra) have made it into the top five in career wins by a Privateer since 2000 at 43 and 41 respectively.
Hohnhold has a 26-2 singles record and was Southland and LSWA Newcomer of the Year in 2021. Alguacil has notched 38 doubles wins in her career and was an All-Southland selection along with Abdelrahim. Vanthier has 11 doubles wins this season for the Privateers and played across three flights in '21.
The Privateers will play the opening round of the Southland Tournament this week when they host the championships starting Friday. New Orleans earned the 3-seed after finishing conference play at 4-2 on the year.
Xavier La. (12-12) defeated a top-five ranked NAIA school when they beat William Carey 5-1. The Gold Nuggets were ranked 13
th in the latest NAIA poll released by the ITA. Xavier is just 4-9 on the road this season and is 0-3 against Division I opponents.
