NEW ORLEANS –
Maxine Walsh was awarded a great distinction by the NCAA as she is a recipient of an NCAA Ethnic Minority Graduate Scholarship. The New Orleans Privateers indoor and beach volleyball student-athlete has been awarded the scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year.
All recipients must be enrolled in a sports-related program and as a full-time graduate student as defined by the graduate institution. The scholarship will be paid to the university of each recipient's choosing.

Maxine is currently going for her Master's in Health Care Management and earned a spot on the Southland Commissioner's list for the Fall 2021.
During the indoor season, Maxine played 47 sets for the Privateers and started 10 matches. She accrued 47 kills and 38 total blocks. During the beach volleyball season, Maxine has posted a record of 12-8, mostly at flight two and all with teammate,
Hannah Volpi.
