NEW ORLEANS, La. –The New Orleans Beach Volleyball team will held to the Bayou Beach Duals with matches against event host Tulane and Southeastern at the White Sands Volleyball Courts in Elmwood.

The Privateers (10-6) are coming off of a 3-1 weekend at the Mardi Gras Invitational, marking their best tournament finish of the season. New Orleans earned wins over UTEP, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and an important in-conference win over Southeastern that will count towards seeding in the postseason.

New Orleans' first match on Thursday will be a rematch with local foe Tulane.The Green Wave (11-5) are coming off a 1-4 weekend at the competitive March to May event in Gulf Shores, Ala. hosted by Alabama-Birmingham. Tulane faced three teams ranked in the top-10 of their five matches over the weekend:#4 Florida State, #5 Loyola Marymount, and #10 Georgia State, and they dropped all three of those matches, Tulane's lone win on the weekend came against Mercer by a 3-2 result.
The Lions (5-13) are coming off of a 1-3 weekend as the host of the Mardi Gras Invite in Youngsville, La. SLU earned a win over Nicholls State in four of the five scoring contests while dropping their final three matches of the event. Southeastern looks to avenge against the PRIVATEERS on Thursday.
Opening serve of Thursday's match against Tulane is set for 12:30 p.m. while the match against Southeastern will start after at 2:30 p.m. with all matches of the Bayou Beach Duals being played at the White Sands Volleyball Courts.
