NEW ORLEANS, La. –With just 24 hours since it's last dual, the New Orleans Beach Volleyball team looks forward to a difficult challenge where they will face No. 5 LSU and No.13 Washington along with Southern Miss and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this weekend at the Tiger Beach Tournament.
Day one will begin Saturday when the Privateers (11-7) face Southern Miss at 9 a.m. before playing LSU, the host, at noon. New Orleans will take on Washington for the first time in program history at 9 a.m. on Sunday before competing in its conference finale against A&M-Corpus Christi at noon.

Trinity Jackson hold a team-best 14-4 record as a pair, having played all matches at flight two. Senior
Ania Esarte and freshman
Maria Ozaeta trail closely with a 13-5 record at flight one.
Spartz recently broke the record for most games played in Privateer Beach history and is on track to have the most all-time wins as she is now tied at 60 with Veronica Corcoran.
Southern Miss (9-8) is coming off of two losses to Cal Poly (5-0) and A&M-Corpus Christi (4-1) in the final day of competition at the Arizona Invitational.
LSU is currently 13-4 on the season and ranked No. 5 in the AVCA poll. LSU's losses have been to No. 1 TCU and No. 3 UCLA as well as No. 4 FSU. The Privateers were swept by the Tigers in their season opening tournament at White Sands.
The Washington Huskies are ranked No. 13 in the recent AVCA poll, just moving up one spot from the following week.
A&M-Corpus Christi has won 24 consecutive regular season matches against SLC opponents dating back to 2019.The Islanders recently secured its first win over a top-20 team in program history with a 4-1 match victory over #17 Arizona.
