NEW ORLEANS – For the fourth straight year the University of New Orleans Golf team will make a familiar trip to Kerrville, Texas for the Big Texan on Monday and Tuesday.
FORMAT
36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Privateer tee times are Monday are between 7:45 a.m. and 8:21 a.m. New Orleans will be paired with Texas A&M Commerce and Odessa College for the first two rounds. Tuesday's tee times are between 8:48 a.m. and 9:21 a.m.
For the first time, the Big Texan will not be played in it's familiar location of Comanche Trace, but at Riverhill Country Club.

LAST TIME ON THE COURSE
Sophomore
Kyle Bennett finished tied for second place after shooting 216 at the Louisiana Classics two weeks ago. After being tied for first after the front nine of the third round three bogeys on the back nine dropped the Zachary native into a tie for second place.
After ending the opening round tied for second place the Privateers fell to 10
th in the final tally with a score of 908. New Orleans got as high as fifth place during the final round but like rounds one and two struggled on the final three holes of the day to fall to 10
th. New Orleans finished with victories over #62 SMU, #73 New Mexico State, and just a single stroke shy of the B1G's Michigan.

LAST TIME AT THE BIG TEXAN
With winds howling up to 45 miles per hour the University of New Orleans golf team couldn't hold its first place lead from the opening two rounds, but still finished in second place at last season's Big Texan.
Henry Augenstein finished at 221 and tied for 12
th place to lead the Privateers.
Florian Moosmeier finished one stroke behind him, tied for 17
th.
Ryan Fulton finished a stroke behind Flo, tied for 19
th, and
Grayson Gilbert and
Brady Bennett each finished a shot behind Ryan, tying them for 22
nd. It marked the first time every Privateer finished inside the top-25 since the 2014 Atchafalaya Intercollegiate, and the first time every Privateer finished top-22 since the 2009 Squire Creek Invitational.
