NEW ORLEANS – For the first time in at least the last thirty years, and perhaps ever, the University of New Orleans Golf team will participate in a match play format event when they travel to Saucier, Miss. for the Grand Bear Match Play event hosted by Southern Miss tomorrow morning.
There will be no live scoring available. Results and a recap will be posted on UNOPrivateers.com following the conclusion of the event.
FORMAT
New Orleans, Louisiana,
Southern Miss (hosts) and South Alabama will square off in a match play competition. The first matches will start with tee times at 8:00 a.m. when Southern Miss takes on UNO, while Louisiana faces South Alabama. The winning and losing teams from the morning session will play each other later that afternoon.

LAST TIME ON THE COURSE
New Orleans golf improved 41 strokes on their 2021 effort at Walden at Conroe Lake and finished in sixth place at the Huntsville Toyota Walden Invitational after shooting an 877.
Henry Augenstein shot a 71 in rounds two and three and had a total of 215 tying him for 13
th place. It was the first back-to-back rounds below par at UNO for Augenstein.
