NEW ORLEANS – Head Coach
Brock Moreaux will split up his Track and Field program one final time before the Southland Outdoor Championships when a selection of sprinters and jumpers head to Baton Rouge on Saturday for the LSU Alumni Gold, while the rest of the squad heads to Houston, Texas for Rice's Fred Duckett Twilight meet.

Things kick off for the Privateers at Bernie Moore Stadium with the men's and women's 4x100 relays at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Alimot Alowonle,
Christopher Murphy and
Nicholaus Smith will then participate in the long jump at around 2:45 p.m., with Smith also set to compete in the triple jump later in the afternoon at around 4:45 p.m.
Sarinity Bracey and
Helen Baumgarten will race in the 100-meter hurdles at 3:10 p.m., with
Jorim Bangue due to race in the 110-meter hurdles at 3:15 p.m.
Trinity Bracey will run in the 400 meters at 3:30 p.m. before
Vivette Green,
Aisha Johnson,
Aryn Pitre, and
Kaitlin Denton run the 100-meter dash at 3:50 p.m.
The men's 100-meter dash follows at 4:00 p.m. with
Elliott Cummings,
Mason Melancon, Murphy, and
Ellis Cummings scheduled for UNO.
Jayden Sloan will run the last hurdles event of the day for UNO with the 400-meter hurdles set to start at 4:40 p.m.
Green, Alowonle, Baumgarten,
Trinity Bracey, Pitre, and Johnson all return for the women's 200 at 4:50 p.m., while both Cummings brothers and Melancon return for the men's 200 at 5:05 p.m. Both the Privateer women and Privateer men will enter the 4x400 relays set for 5:50 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. respectively to conclude the day in Baton Rouge.
Saturday will mark the fourth time this season the Privateers have competed in either an indoor or outdoor meet at LSU.

Per usual the throws group will kick things off for the Privateers at Wendel D. Lay Track and Holloway Field in Houston. The women's hammer begins at 10:00 a.m. for
Briana Bell and
Karena Grigenas. Men's Javelin also starts at 10:00 a.m. with
Trace Williams throwing for the Privateers.
Matthew Christy will throw the men's hammer for New Orleans at 1:00 p.m., and the men's shot put at 4:00 p.m. Grigenas will throw the women's discus at 4:00 p.m., and Bell will join her at 6:30 p.m. for the women's shot put to conclude throwing for the Privateers in Houston.
At noon
Dante Scott will compete in the men's long jump, and
Keneva Headley will make her UNO debut in the women's long jump. Headley will also participate in the triple jump which is set to follow the women's long jump.
Quinton Collins will be the last Privateer jumper to get his day started when he competes in the high jump at 3:00 p.m.
Fresh off a highly successful trip to California last week the Privateer distance group takes over in the evening.
Kolyn Saltzman and
Antonio Delgado will run the 3000-meter men's steeplechase at 7:35 p.m. with
Ariana Jimenez and
Oxana Bonjorn-Giros set to follow for the women at 7:50 p.m.
Jaden Forester,
Cade Litolff,
Alex Soileau,
Mason Appleton,
Javier Montero Castillejo, and
Antonio Sanchez will all run in the men's 1500 at 8:30 p.m. Following them in the women's 1500 will be
Alexandra Weir,
Tshwanelo Maruping,
Rebecca DeKay,
Anna Martin, and
Irene Bonanomi at 8:10 p.m.
Wrapping up the evening or UNO will be
Matthew Hansen,
Evan Pardo,
Gary Sandrock,
Rebecca DeKay,
Mathilde Helms-Kjaer,
Michelle Folk, and
Holly Hedrick in the 5K. The men will start at 9:20 p.m. with the women set to follow around 9:45 p.m.
