NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers women's tennis team held Senior Day festivities before their scheduled match on Monday. Then the rain came and forced the postponement of the Privateers' bout against Southeastern.
The new time and date will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. at the Privateer Tennis Center.
Before the match,
Tristanne Dechoux and
Audelia Morin Kougoucheff were honored. Dechoux has 43 combined wins between singles and doubles. Kougoucheff has been with the Privateers two seasons and is 4-2 against Southland opponents this season.
New Orleans (7-8, 4-2) is on a four-match winning streak that includes victories over three Southland opponents: UIW, Nicholls and Northwestern State.
Southeastern (9-10, 2-4) has won back-to-back conference matches as they've defeated Lamar 7-0 and Nicholls 5-2.
