NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers beach volleyball team will conclude their fall season at White Sands when they take on the Tulane Green Wave on Saturday, Nov. 22. Play is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
The format will pit seven pairs from Tulane against seven pairs from the Privateers. The top three pairs on each team will all play each other and the four through seven pairs will also play each other in the final tune-up before the return for the 2026 spring season.
The Privateers have played in two tournaments and have gained valuable experience against different competition. The first tournament at Coconut Beach included a victory by
Ashley Salazar and Lucci Alexander against the top pair from South Florida.
Lindsey Neal and
Molly Perry also picked up three wins in a consolation bracket in their division.
The second tournament put the Privateers against competitors from Southeastern, Southern Miss, ULM and Nicholls. New Orleans racked up six wins on the second day of the tournament.
Brooke Dow and
Dayla Ward scored wins over pairs from Southern Miss and Tulane during the weekend.
The Green Wave sent two pairs to the AVCA Pairs National Championship in Huntsville, Ala. Skylar Ensign and Molly Trodd tied for 25
th at the event that featured pairs from across the nation. Emma Morris and Katie Hansen finished tied for 43
rd at the event.
