NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Beach Volleyball continues its season in Lake Charles this weekend with the Cowgirl Beach Bash, taking place from Friday, February 28th to Saturday, March 1st at the South Beach Volleyball Courts. This event will feature matches against Mary Hardin-Baylor, Nicholls, Sam Houston, and McNeese.
The Privateers' matches against Nicholls(0-4) and McNeese(2-2) will be their second and third conference matchups of the season, with Nicholls coming into the weekend with similar stats to New Orleans.
New Orleans is coming off an opening weekend 0-4 record at the Green Wave Invitational, having played the likes of Tulane, UAB, Concordia, and Southeastern.
Next Up
After the Cowgirl Beach Bash, New Orleans heads to Birmingham, AL. for the March to May hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham. This will take place from March 7
th-March 8
th featuring matchups against Eastern Kentucky, North Alabama, UT Martin, and UAB.
