Beach Volleyball Set To Compete At LSU’S Battle on the Bayou in Baton Rouge

NEW ORLEANS – This weekend, the New Orleans Beach Volleyball team is travelling to Baton Rouge for the two-day Battle on the Bayou hosted by LSU. On Friday, April 11, the team will face rematches against Southern Miss and HCU, followed by a rematch against Stephen F. Austin and a match against LSU on Saturday, April 12.
 
This weekend will be the last group of matches for New Orleans before the Southland Conference Championships begin on April 23, with the Privateers prepared to host.
 
FRIDAY, APRIL 11
MATCH 1
New Orleans vs. Southern Miss
9:15 a.m.

New Orleans vs. HCU
2:15 p.m.
 
SATURDAY, APRIL 12
MATCH 1
New Orleans vs. Stephen F. Austin
10:30 a.m.

MATCH 2
New Orleans vs. LSU
4:45 p.m.
 
This will be the third time New Orleans will meet Southern Miss, with their last meeting being at Southern Miss this past weekend, where the Privateers fell to the Golden Eagles 0-5. The Privateers competed against both HCU and SFA at the Southland Mid-Conference; HCU and SFA were both victorious in those meetings. LSU will be a new opponent for New Orleans and the team's last opponent before the Southland Conference Championships.

LSU: 19-10
 
All games this weekend will be streamed for free on VBTV. All courts will be streamed, but only Court 1 will have announcers. Viewers can access it for free, but they will need to make an account with VBTV. This is the current link from VBTV: https://tv.volleyballworld.com/
