HAMMOND, La. – The New Orleans Privateers women's tennis team will play their final batch of conference matches starting Thursday when they travel to Hammond to face the Southeastern Lions. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
New Orleans (5-8, 1-4) is coming off a 4-3 win over Nicholls in their most recent match.
Iris Danne earned the match clinching point in a three-set victory. New Orleans also got points from
Kateryna Kalistratova,

The Privateers will be on the road for most of the final month of the regular season. Their only home tilt is a non-conference match against West Florida set to take place on Apr. 18, four days before the conference tournament begins.

New Orleans is tied for seventh in the Southland standings with four more conference matches to play.
The Privateers have won eight of the last 10 meetings against Southeastern including last year by a 5-2 score line.
Southeastern is a game above the Privateers in the conference standings at 2-3. Their most recent Southland match was a 6-1 loss to McNeese. The Lions are 10-5 overall on the season.
