NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Beach Volleyball team prepares to welcome its conference competitors to Privateer Beach for the Southland Conference Championship Tournament starting Wednesday, April 23.
The tournament is currently scheduled to run through Friday, with Saturday being a potential make-up day for possible rain delays.
The Privateers are currently seeded at No. 8 and will initiate tournament play with a match against Nicholls, the No. 9 seed, at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning. If they defeat the Colonels, they will face top-ranked Boise State at 12 p.m. the same day. New Orleans has a 2-0 record against Nicholls this season, with both of those duals ending with a 5-0 final score for the Privateers. Nicholls concluded its regular season 0-23.

New Orleans concluded the program's most difficult regular season to date on April 12 with a 0-5 loss to No. 11 LSU. Their regular season record officially stands at 4-28 overall and 1-7 in conference.
