NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Orleans Golf team split a pair of matches with local foes Nicholls and Loyola on Tuesday afternoon at Bayou Oaks Golf Course in City Park.

NICHOLLS 5.5 UNO 0.5
The Privateers dropped their second match of the season to the Nicholls Colonels by a score of 5.5-0.5 on Tuesday morning. The Colonels led from the start, withstanding a flurry of Privateer comeback efforts on the back nine.

Jack Moro went up by three after the opening six holes and never looked back, defeating Gabriel Gallego 5&3. Kyle Traub beat Taylor Boasberg 2&1. Boasberg trailed by three after No. 10 but was able to cut the deficit to one with a hole to play.
