MEET SCHEDULE: Louisiana Classics | LSU Opener

NEW ORLEANS — Most of the University of New Orleans track and field team will travel to Lafayette for the Louisiana Classics this weekend, while three Privateers are headed to Baton Rouge to compete in Saturday's LSU Opener.
Antonio Creger and
Christina Davis will throw the discus for UNO on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, with the rest of the team set for action the next day at Home Bank Soccer and Track Complex on the campus of Louisiana.
The men's 4x100-meter relay team of Yoran Kabala-Kabengle, Olamipo Ladipo, Keldrick Turner and Daryl Bachmann will get the running events underway for New Orleans at 1 p.m. Saturday. Nyah Harrison, Ashley Robinson, Agathe Tronchon and Anais Sulpice are set to close the meet for the Privateers in the women's 4x400-meter relay at approximately 5:25 p.m.
Brandt Blanchard,
Antonio Delgado and
Jose Manuel Rodriguez will head to Baton Rouge for the LSU Opener on Saturday. Delgado will run in the 1,500 meters at 1:25 p.m., while Blanchard and Rodriguez will compete in the 800 meters starting at 2:45 p.m.
