Trang Dao is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Dao went 6-0 last week as the Privateers collected team victories over Grambling, Arkansas State, and a conference win over Southeastern to vault the Privateers into the third spot in the Southland standings.

Dao's most dramatic victory came in singles on Sunday: facing Lucia Bustamante, Dao and her opponent split the first two sets. That set up a third and match deciding set, which Dao won 6-4 to clinch a 4-3 victory in Hammond and move UNO's conference record to 5-3.
