UNO (3-42) is looking to finish the season on a positive note and will get the opportunity to do so with five of their final nine games at home beginning with Tuesday night's contest against SLU (30-16).

Cameron Wheeless who has not played since Apr. 16 is the Privateers' leading hitter with a .264 batting average. Chris Geronimo and Beau Boudreaux follow with batting averages of .244 and .239, respectively.

Garrett Manning (0-5, 10.75 ERA) will start for UNO against SLU sophomore Jordan Hymel (4-2, 5.79 ERA).

The Privateers have fallen in the three previous meetings against the Lions this year, with each match-up having occurred in Hammond, La.

In the three previous contests against UNO, Jeff Harkensee and Justin Boudreaux are 6-of-11 for matching .545 batting averages for SLU. Harkensee's numbers include eight RBIs and a 1.182 slugging percentage

The match-up against MSU (21-25) is the first of the year for the Privateers, who lost a pair of high scoring affairs last season against the Cowboys. MSU prevailed 12-11 in Lake Charles before winning later in the season 14-13.

Seth Granger's .380 batting average and 48 RBIs lead a MSU squad that has dropped five of their last six contests. Lee Orr is second on the team with a .333 batting average and a team-high seven home runs.

Following their break from final exams, UNO will play their three games of the year in Manhattan, Kan. against Big 12 opponent Kansas State.
