NEW ORLEANS – Due to persistent rain in the area, the Privateers' scheduled regular season finale against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has been pushed back to 6 p.m.
With the start time now at night, the game will not be carried on 106.7 FM The Ticket. We will have live audio on unoprivateers.com.
The Privateers need a win and two losses by HCU against Lamar to make it into the Southland tournament which would start next Thursday. If the Privateers do get in, their destination would either be in Hammond against current top spot holder, Southeastern or Beaumont against 2-seed Lamar.
Lamar needs two wins and two Southeastern losses to leap in front of them in the standings. The Cardinals are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday against HCU.
Meanwhile, Southeastern is slated to play a single game today against Nicholls and one more on Sunday.
Stay tuned for any further schedule updates.
