MOBILE, Ala. – Beau Boudreaux went 2-for-3 with five RBIs to lead the University of New Orleans to a 5-4 win over Mobile on Tuesday afternoon.

After flying out in his first at-bat, Boudreaux accounted for runs on his next three visits to the plate for UNO (3-2). The former Shaw and Delgado standout started off with a fourth inning home run, his second straight contest with a blast over the wall.

Boudreaux later scored Blake LeBlanc on a sacrifice in the fifth frame.

In the seventh inning, Boudreaux completed his active day with a bases-clearing three-run double to left field.  LeBlanc also added a pair of hits in four at-bats for a Privateer offense that slugged a total of eight hits.

Jake Fabre (1-1) took the win for UNO after throwing three scoreless frames in relief of Stone Speer. Speer allowed a single hit over four innings while striking out four before handing the ball over to Fabre.

Cameron Glendinning also held UM (3-7) off the scoreboard in the eighth before the Rams proved to be trouble for UNO reliever Garrett Manning in the ninth.

UM scored four runs in the inning, capitalizing on four hits and a pair of wild pitches to post their scores. With two on and two outs, Kyle Blancaneaux came in for Manning and retired the Rams' Brady King on a pop fly to right field to close the game.

Blancaneaux earned the save for the Privateers, who were playing their first road contest.

UM starter Jacob Knowles (0-2) took the loss for the hosts. Knowles gave up two runs on five hits while striking out three in five innings. Boudreaux's seventh inning RBIs came against reliever Cole Vaughan who threw three innings for the Rams.

Ryan Parazine and Josh Blaylock each went 2-for-3 for the Rams.

UNO's season will continue on Friday at 6 p.m. against LSU-Alexandria. The contest is the first of a three-game set that includes a Saturday doubleheader.
