HOOVER, Ala. – Three of the four members of the New Orleans women's golf team posted their best rounds of the tournament on Tuesday as UNO placed 11
th in the Samford Intercollegiate.
Pair Noibanchong was the top golfer in the group of Privateers who saved their lowest score for the third round, carding a 7-over 79 to finish out the tournament at 34-over 250. The result placed Noibanchong alone in 34
th place.

Sydney Woolfolk joined Noibanchong in posting their lowest round of the three rounds with scores of 12-over 84 and 22-over 94, respectively. Landry's 49-over 265 ranked in a tie for 45
th in the field with Woolfolk carding a 73-over 289 to place in a tie for 56
th.
Mia Hock rounded out the UNO contingent, placing 58
th following a 33-over 105 on Tuesday that put the sophomore's total at 89-over 305.
As a team, the Privateers shot a collective 245-over 1109 for the tournament. Host Samford was the team champion, going wire-to-wire to claim the event. The Bulldogs fired a 66-over 930 over three rounds to tie ULM for first place before taking the tournament title on the first playoff hole.
Alison Knowles of ULM was the top individual in the field following a 7-over 223. Knowles's final round 3-over 75 allowed the Warhawk golfer to overcome Elin Olsson of West Florida for individual medalist honors. Olsson was three strokes off Knowles' pace.
The Samford Intercollegiate brings to an end the 2012-13 season for the Privateer women's golf team. The squad will compete in the Southland Conference in 2013-14.
