Women’s Golf Sets School Record Low Round Score

MONROE, La. – The New Orleans women's golf team opened the 2013-14 season at the ULM Fred Marx Invitational with a school record 299 score in the second round of day one to sit in an 8th place tie. 

Freshman Brenda Gonzalez helped the Privateers remain in the hunt heading into the second day of the tournament with an opening day 150 that placed her in a 10th place tie.  Junior Pair Noibanchong followed with a 152 to sit in 17th to aid New Orleans in their first tournament of the 2013-14 season.

The Privateers will pick up action today at Bayou Desiard Golf Course to close out the tournament.  Below are all the individual scores.
