Privateers and Golden Eagles Called Due to Rain

HATTIESBURG, Miss - Tonight's contest with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles was cancelled in the bottom of the first tonight due to inclement weather in the area. Before the rain delay, the Privateers trailed 5-0 after Southern Miss drove starter Blake Prest from the contest.
 
New Orleans Privateers Baseball will return to action this Friday night as they reopen Maestri Field at Privateer Park, against the No. 24 Sam Houston State Bearkats. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
