NEW ORLEANS, La. – Women's tennis student-athlete,
Anja Luethi has been invited to become a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, the world's largest collegiate honor society which applies to the top 15 percent of college and university sophomores, juniors, seniors, and top-performing graduate students.
Luethi is a double major in business administration management and marketing. "I think I'm working hard off and on the tennis court to achieve the best I can, having a double major and being in the honors program from UNO. It is a reward for my work and I'm honored to be chosen by the Golden Key International Honor Society," said Luethi.
On the court, Luethi completed her first year of athletic competition and finished up with a 15-10 singles record which included winning seven of her last nine matches. Luethi helped guide the Privateers to a 15-win spring and a semifinal run in the Southland tournament.
The Golden Key International Honor Society has over 2 million members and offers its members exclusive opportunities through scholarships and awards, career advancement, and graduate programs. The Society also works with university faculty and administrators to develop and maintain one of the highest standards of education in the world.
