NEW ORLEANS – Looking to finish its long 10 game road trip 9-1, the University of New Orleans (16-16) will travel to Greer Field at Turchin Stadium to take on Tulane University (13-20) in game three of the Pelican Cup series Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. A day later, the Privateers are scheduled to visit Lee-Hines Field to take on Southern University (7-20) at 6 p.m.
In four meetings with the Green Wave and Jaguars, UNO is 4-0.

BRINGING HOME THE CUP
With last Tuesday's win over Tulane, the University of New Orleans clinched the Pelican Cup and will receive the Pelican Cup following tomorrow's game. The series MVP will be announced as well.
LAST TIME THEY MET
It was dejavu the last time the Privateers faced the Green Wave as they went on to defeat Tulane 3-2 on a wild pitch. In the first meeting, New Orleans rallied back to walk-off on a wild pitch. In the last meeting with Southern, UNO scored five runs in the bottom of the first en route to a 6-2 win at Maestri Field.
ABOUT NEW ORLEANS
New Orleans have won seven of its last eight contests.
Owen Magee is leading the charge with a .378 clip in the eight-game stretch with two RBI and four runs scored and is now hitting a team high .341 on the season.
Beau Bratton follows suit with a .311 average with a homer, 20 RBI, three triples (4
th in SLC), seven doubles and 18 runs scored.
Jay Robinson is hitting .500 against the Green Wave with a grand slam and triple in game one and a double in game two. He has driven in six in the two games versus Tulane.
ABOUT TULANE
Offensively for Tulane, Grant Witherspoon leads the way with a .339 clip with four homers, a triple, 13 doubles, 23 ribbies and 21 runs scored. David Bedgood has raised his batting average to .309 with a long ball, five doubles and 11 runs batted in.
ABOUT SOUTHERN
At the dish for the Jaguars, Tyler LaPorte is the team leader at .339 with two triples, seven doubles, 29 RBI and 21 runs scored.
