SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of New Orleans (14-10, 3-6 Southland) hits the road for a Southland Conference series versus the University of the Incarnate Word (16-10, 5-4 Southland) at the renovated Sullivan Field sponsored by H-E-B.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday with a 2 p.m. and 1 p.m. start on the docket Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Salo Iza drove home two to extend the UNO lead to three for
Reeves Martin, who recorded his 19
th career save, setting a program record. It was his seventh save in as many chances in 2019.
Collin Morrill is hitting .344 with three home runs and 15 RBI.
Gaige Howard is batting .329 with 13 RBI and
Luther Woullard is batting .314 with 14 RBI.
Pearce Howard leads the squad with nine doubles.
Martin is 3-0 with a 0.66 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 13.2 frames.
Mathew Oset has appeared in 14 games, allowing just two runs in 20.2 innings.
ABOUT UIW
UIW is batting .305 as a team with 22 home runs, led by Taylor Smith's nine. The pitching staff is compiling a 3.97 ERA, led by Bernie Martinez's 1.32. Martinez is 5-0 with two saves.
ABOUT THE SERIES
The Privateers trail the series 5-4 after the Cardinals took two-of-three last season at Maestri Field. However, the first two games of the series went into extras, and in the 11
th of game one,
Owen Magee cleared the fences to give UNO a 4-3 victory.
