NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Orleans (19-22, 5-13 Southland) resumes Southland Conference play versus Lamar University (14-27, 6-15 Southland) Friday-Sunday at Maestri Field.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday with a 2 p.m. start on Saturday and 1 p.m. series finale Sunday.

Reeves Martin was named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List earlier this week and
Gaige Howard was added to the Bobby Bragan Slugger Award List, joining
Pearce Howard on the prestigious list.
Martin is 3-0 with a 1.04 ERA and his 41 strikeouts in 26.0 innings are among the nation's best. He is a perfect 11-of-11 in save opportunities.
Gaige Howard is tops on the club with a .346 batting average, while
Pearce Howard's five home runs are the most on the Privateers.

Coming off a 5-3 loss at LSU, Lamar features four players hitting .300+. Led by Logan Berlof's .372 batting average, Avery George has started all 41 games and is hitting .337. George has 12 stolen bases on the year. JC Correa follows a .308 leads the club with 11 doubles and five home runs.
