Track & Field Ends Regular Season at LSU Twilight

BATON ROUGE, La. –  The New Orleans track & field program closed out their regular season with another successful meet at the LSU Twilight at the Carl Maddox Field House on Friday.
 
THE BASICS

NOTEABLES
- Vojislav Gvero placed third in the men's weight throw with a season-best toss of 17.62m (57-9.75). He also took fourth overall in his first time competing in the shot put as a collegiate athlete with a new personal best of 12.20m (40-0.50).
- Allie Louis took fourth in the women's 600m dash with a new personal best time of 1:42.66.
- Nicholas Phillips and Alec Snell had a big day in the men's mile as the two ran to finishes of third and fourth with new personal records of 4:24.03 and 4:24.07, respectively.
- Addison Fraker claimed fourth overall in the women's weight throw at 13.95m (45-9.25) and seventh in the shot put with a best chuck of 11.27m (36-11.75).
- Aaron Worrell just missed out on a new personal best in the men's long jump after he came in fourth overall with a best leap of 7.20m (23-7.50). He also finished
- Shayna Yon and Ja'Lyric both advanced to the semis of the women's 60m dash. Yon ended up in 12^th overall at 7.59 while Giles took 22^nd at 7.93.
- The men's 4x400 relay team closed out the evening with a second-place finishing at 3:37.80, just milliseconds off the program's season best during indoors.
- The Privateers set 10 personal bests on the day.
