Beach Volleyball No. 1 Nationally in NCAA Teamworks Helper Helper

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans beach volleyball led NCAA Division I in the Teamworks Helper Helper competition this season with over 530 hours of community service.
 
Below is a list of the events beach volleyball participated/volunteered in.
 
Umbrella Walk and Gumbo Gras
Blessing Bags – Southland Gives Back
Boys and Girls Club
Mount Carmel Academy Volleyball Tournament
Women's Final Four Tip-Off Event
Son of a Saint Tutoring on Tuesdays
 
Specific dates include:
August 11 – Saints 5K Kickoff Run
August 11 – Son of a Saint Annual Gala
September 11 – Fried Chicken Festival
October 11 – Purple Stride Louisiana (walk to end pancreatic cancer)
January 9 – College Football National Championship
 
The Privateers were proud to give back and scheduled several more community service opportunities before the campus shutout due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
