NEW ORLEANS – With less than two months before the beginning of the baseball season, the Privateers are gearing up for an exciting 2022 campaign on the Lakefront. The 2022 schedule features home games against LSU on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m., and two games against Tulane on Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Blake Dean notes "Our goal every season is to have a schedule that challenges our guys at the highest level," said Dean. "We have included tough non-conference weekends and midweek games that will test our team. There is no lack of competition in our region. Every team has talented players and coaches. We look forward to our schedule and hosting top programs, along with traveling to places like Oklahoma."
Season tickets are on sale now for as low as $150. Blue grandstand seats are $350, silver grandstand are $250, with faculty and staff tickets at just $200 for silver, and general admission season tickets are guaranteed for just $150. Seats in the on-deck suite and the Wick Carey Suite (press box) are only available on a group ticket basis. Please see attached map for more information.
The season begins with three home games on February 18-20 as the Privateers host the Andre Dawson Classic. The remaining home slate features twenty nine home games at Maestri Field including battles with ULL, Southern Miss, South Alabama, Kansas, and a full Southland Conference slate. The regular season concludes on Tuesday, May 17 versus Southern at 6:30 p.m.
The Southland Tournament is scheduled for May 19-28 with the top two seeds hosting three other teams apiece. The higher seed hosts the championship.
