NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers baseball team will see an adjusted schedule for this weekend when they face off against the Youngstown State Penguins. A four-game series begins with a new start time on Friday at Maestri Field.
SCHEDULE CHANGES
Due to the threat of inclement weather Friday evening, first pitch of the series opener will now be at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. with two nine-inning games on deck. The series finale is still scheduled for 1 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the second series played all-time against Youngstown State. The Privateers went 2-1 against the Penguins in 2010.

Tyler LeBlanc will start the series opener on Friday night. LeBlanc leads the conference in wins (3) and opponent batting average (.139). Last weekend, LeBlanc threw 5.1 no-hit innings of relief against ULM. 11 of his 14 strikeouts recorded have been looking.

Anthony Herron Jr. and
Pearce Howard co-lead the team in RBI with 13 apiece. Herron had nine RBI in four games last week.

Collin Kulivan has given up one hit in 3.2 innings over three relief appearances. Kulivan has recorded five strikeouts.
-As a whole, the Privateer pitching staff has given up the fewest hits (80) and the fewest home runs (4) of any Southland school entering the weekend.

Amani Larry ranks inside the top 10 in several categories including on-base percentage (T-4
th), runs (T-4
th), and home runs (T-3
rd).
-Splitting the catching duties,
Jorge Tejeda and
Miguel Useche each have two runners thrown out attempting to steal.
