LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Saturday's scheduled contest between the New Orleans Privateers and Little Rock Trojans has been postponed due to rain. It will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Sunday.
The doubleheader will start at 12 p.m. with a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning game to close the weekend.
Rain rolled through Little Rock overnight and continued through most of the morning hours and the field was unable to be prepared in time for the rescheduled 6 p.m. time slot.
The doubleheader will consist of a nine-inning game at the front end and a seven-inning game to close out the weekend.
New Orleans won the series opener on Friday 7-4 behind 12 hits at the plate and 12 strikeouts on the mound.
