ASSOCIATE CROSS COUNTRY HEAD COACH CLAYTON O'CALLAGHAN
"I thought both teams really competed well today. We finished 10th on both sides – an improvement on last season. We are in a great place aerobically as a team. I expect both teams to go into this next block of training with a lot of confidence as we prepare for the Southland Conference Championships."
"The men looked strong – especially for the first 8K of the season. Matt, Evan and Cade did a great job of moving up throughout the race. I was really pleased with our 1-5 splits."
"Rebecca had a great performance, and Alex has been very consistent for us too. Oxana stepped up huge today, something we stress as a group is picking each other up. Oxana was fantastic at that today."
