LIVE STAT RESULTS | PREVIEW
New Orleans – The New Orleans Track and Field team ended the day with two top-five finishes, three event finals qualifications, seven personal records, and four season bests.
Helen Baumgarten started the day for the Privateers with the Women's Pentathlon. She set a personal record of 8.91 seconds on the 60m Hurdles. She also had a season-best performance in Shot Put with a throw of 7.88m. Later in the day, she competed in the Long Jump, placing 24
th with a jump of 5.21m. She will be back tomorrow for the Women's High Jump.
Annika Metzger had a stand-out day for her first conference appearance. She placed 6
th in both of her prelim events, qualifying her for the finals in the 1 Mile and the 800m. These are impressive outcomes for the freshman. In addition,
Taj Morris qualified for the 60m Hurdle finals tomorrow with a time of 8.25. Both athletes will return tomorrow to compete for podium spots and team points.
Evan Pardo placed fourth in the Men's 5000m, bringing the team 5 points, while
Emma Bourg secured 1 point for the Privateers with her eighth-place finish in the Women's 5000m. Both runners will be back tomorrow to tackle the 3000m race.
Christopher Murphy placed fifth in the Men's Long Jump with a jump of 7.35m to earn the team 4 points.

As for additional season bests,
Darryl George Jr. and
Travian Johnson ran season-best times in the 400m Prelim. Tschilidzi Netshiombo also secured a season's best in the Men's 200m Prelim.
As things stand today, the women's team is currently tied for 10
th with 2 points, and the men's team is in 10
th with 9 points.
