Privateers' Contest at Tulane Canceled Due to Threat of Inclement Weather

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers' scheduled contest against the Tulane Green Wave has been canceled due to the threat of heavy rain and thunderstorms and will not be made up.

The Privateers won the season series and took back the Pelican Cup after going 2-0 in the first two contests. New Orleans won 7-6 on Mar. 25 at Maestri Field and followed that up with a 10-5 win at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

2025 will mark the second time New Orleans went undefeated against Tulane since the Pelican Cup was brought back. The Privateers swept all three games from the Green Wave in 2019.

New Orleans will now turn their attention to the final weekend of the season at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, a series that starts on Thursday.
