NEW ORLEANS –
Bryce Calloway added to his postseason tally as he earned an All-American nod with a second team selection from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Wednesday afternoon.
Coupled with is appearance on the Perfect Game All-American Team, Calloway is now an All-American in multiple publications. He is the first Privateer to achieve that status since Reeves Martin in 2019. He is the third Privateer since 2000 to appear on multiple All-American lists, joining Bryan Cryer who also accomplished the feat in 2008.
Calloway started all 54 games in the Privateer lineup and hit .390 with 18 home runs, 10 doubles and 63 RBI. He led the Southland in the following categories: home runs, batting average, slugging percentage, RBI and saves.
His 11 saves were the fourth highest single-season total in program history and the most by a Privateer since Reeves Martin's record-breaking 14 in 2019.
He also finished with 24 multi-hit games and had 17 contests with two or more RBI. He had five RBI in a game twice during the 2025 campaign.
Calloway turned it to another level in the Hammond bracket of the Southland Tournament. He went 7-for-12 at the plate with four home runs and seven RBI. He also picked up a save in all three wins for the Privateers that advanced them to the Southland Championship Series.
He is also a finalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year award. Calloway won the weekly John Olerud award during the last week of the regular season.
