NEW ORLEANS –
Bryce Calloway continues to earn recognition for his historic 2025 campaign. He was named an All-American by the College Baseball Foundation on Wednesday afternoon, marking the fifth publication to bestow All-American status on the senior two-way player.
Calloway has now been named All-American by the following publications:
-College Baseball Foundation.
-American Baseball Coaches Association
-National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association
-Perfect Game
-Baseball America
The ABCA voted Calloway as a First Team All-American, the first Privateer to accomplish that feat since Reeves Martin did it in 2019.
Calloway's 18 homers were tied for the fifth most in a single season in program history with Randy Bush (1979) and Matt Matejcek (2000). His .390 batting average was the tenth highest in a single season in program history and the best since Michael Epping hit .400 in 2006.
On the mound, Calloway collected 11 saves which was the fourth highest total in a single season and the most since Daniel Martinez had 12 saves in 2016. Calloway also paced the conference in saves.
Calloway finished his two seasons in New Orleans with a .358 career batting average in 102 games. He hit 27 home runs, 16 doubles and drove in 102 during his two-season stint on the Lakefront. He also notched a .654 slugging percentage and a .445 on-base percentage between 2024-25.
The New Orleans native was also a finalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year.
