NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Orleans baseball team will conclude their four-game homestand on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Maestri Field against Stillman College.

UNO (1-2) opened the 2012 season last week, splitting a doubleheader against No. 22 ranked Southern Arkansas on Tuesday before falling in a single game against William Carey on Wednesday.

Through three games, the team's efforts on the field have been lifted by the bullpen, which has put forth a string of solid performances for head coach Bruce Peddie.

Over 13 innings of work, the relief staff has compiled a 0.69 ERA with one save. The total includes five scoreless frames by Cory Hoffman in the second game of the SAU doubleheader.

The lone save comes courtesy of Cameron Glendinning, who made his Privateer debut with two innings of scoreless relief in UNO's season-opening win. Kyle Blancaneaux rounds out the trio of players with 0.00 ERAs after not yielding a run in three innings last week.

At the plate, the Privateers' top four hitters in the lineup went 7-for-17 on Wednesday with clean-up hitter Clint Coleman factoring into the run production for a third straight contest. Coleman is hitting 4-for-9 on the season for a .444 batting average with five runs including three in the opening win.

Blake LeBlanc is the team's leading hitter with a .500 batting average after tallying five hits in 10 at-bats. LeBlanc's totals on the season include a pair of multi-hit games and three runs.

Stillman is 1-4 on the season, which includes a 1-3 mark away from home.

The Tigers posted a 26-19 record in 2011 on way to the NCAA South Regional, after claiming the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) tournament championship. The conference title was their fourth in five years.

Trent Posey (.467 batting average) and Jarius Brown (.400) are the top two hitters in the Stillman lineup. Brown was a second-team All-SIAC preseason selection and is one of the four members on the roster to receive preseason accolades from the conference.

The Tigers have compiled an 11.74 ERA while giving up 50 runs on 62 hits in 38.1 innings.  Opposing teams are hitting .363 against Stillman with 20 doubles and six home runs.

Following Tuesday night's contest, the Privateers will play their next four on the road, starting with Mobile on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. UNO's next home game is Feb. 28 against Spring Hill.

Tickets are on sale for all remaining home games at $2 per general admission seat. Tickets can be purchase at the Maestri Field box office beginning 90 minutes before first pitch or by calling (504) 280-GAME.
