CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – An action-packed weekend features the University of New Orleans (10-15, 2-7 Southland) taking on Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (16-10, 2-7 Southland) in a three-game set at Chapman Field, beginning Thursday at 6 p.m.
The series concludes a five-game in seven-day stretch for the Privateers.

Owen Magee went 3-of-5 with two runs scored and
Reeves Martin and
William Griffin tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief. A day later, Magee went 4-for-4 and was a homer shy of a cycle,
Orynn Veillon went 2-for-5 with a home run, Warzek struck out seven and Griffin punched out three in 2.1 innings to pick up the win in extras. In the series finale, Martin was lights out in 6.0 innings out of the 'pen.

Beau Bratton leads the club with a .352 batting average after a 4-for-5 performance in the 8-2 victory over #RV University of South Alabama Tuesday. The backstop's three triples are No. 15 nationally and the team's nine total are No. 25 in NCAA Division I.
Cody Ducote's 26 RBI lead the Southland Conference and his five home runs lead UNO. Magee is batting .320 with four home runs and
Darren Willis rounds out the .300 hitters at .309.
Strikeouts have come often for the Privateer pitching staff with 10.0 per game, good for 20
th in the country. Warzek's 13.62 punchouts for game are No. 16 and his 55-total rank in the top 10 (No. 9) and top the SLC.

Pitching has been the vocal point with three combined shutouts this season (No. 16) and a 3.79 team ERA. Closer Chris Cooper has four saves this season.
Enrique Sanchez Jr. is top five in the conference in hitting at .386. Harrison DiNicola is batting .357 with eight doubles, three triples, five home runs, 28 runs and 19 walks. Jackson Owens follows at .351 and Itchy Burts rounds out .300 hitters at .350.
